My Oz Poster
By Ethan Moore
Contrast:
The Contrast that I used were bright colors like yellow which is probably the most important color on the page that is showing the title and the info about it, like how much a ticket will cost and what time it is at and what day it will be held. I used white for the background info that it is based off the book by Frank Baum and etc. Then I used the black for the least important stuff like what school is presenting the play.Alignment:
I mainly aligned things to the left or right because I felt it would be easier to read and that it wouldn't be so crowded with everything on one side or in the middle near that side.
Repetition:
The design elements that I used repeatedly was the font for certain parts of the poster. I also used similar colors for the words and I thought that it would look good with the yellow and green background.
Proximity:
I used grouping by sorting it into what was the title, the info about the play and then background info about it. Then I decided that the picture of the characters could be somewhere in the corner where it would look really good. The space was decided by making sure it didn't touch the other words and to not be too far away or close together.
